Is that Miss Miley Cryus?

My Oh Miley!

Miley Cyrus on W magazine, bleached eyebrows, completely new look. I love Miley Cyrus. I think the controversy of her previously being child icon Hannah Montana is over, I think she has a right to be and do what she would like now. Critics have had problems with her nipple being out and her comments about weed and what not. With regards to the nipple, this is a fashion shoot, it isn’t Playboy or FHM and I don’t think it is therefore a problem. I love what Miley Cyrus is doing within fashion and I salute her for that. On a positive note, after this shoot she talked about how she likes to stay at home and doesn’t find reason to leave the house when she everything at home and I liked that because it just shows that she is real. One thing that people need to realise is that being a celebrity is like being a mother – its a full time job so obviously she will say and do things that are inappropriate or that spark controversy but its part of the job and we created her.

Another thing Miley talked about was how mean kids are: “They’re so fucking mean,” she continues. “Sometimes I hear kids with their parents, and I want to go over and, like, smack them myself…Like if they meet me, they’ll be like, ‘Mom, don’t you know how to use an iPhone? Like, can you take the picture?’ I’m like, ‘Dude, if I ever talked to my mom like that when I was a kid, I would have had no phone, no computer, no TV, no anything.’ And so, yeah, kids are just mean.” I totally agree with this because every year I’ll tell my friends that younger years are getting ruder and ruder and the fact that Miley knows this shows that she isn’t this bad girl the media think she wants to be, honestly I think she’s just living life.
