London Fashion Week: Winter Wardrobe Inspiration

Browsing through the shows of London Fashion Week I have picked some of the Hottest looks of the different catwalks that I would defo use as a platform for my autumn winter wardrobe.

Mary Katrantzou

The fabric and colours of this collection was super hot.
Lesson from this look: Dark colours always feel best in the winter and a good way to change it up is by incorporating a unsual fabric in the mix.
Issa
Issa
Issa’s collection defined what a collection should be, no individual piece stood out they simply merged together to form a universal look.
Lesson from this look: Texture, incorporating more than one texture changes the perception of a look and also makes it more 3D.
Pam Hogg
Pam Hogg
This collection was wonderfully crazy, I love how Pam Hogg continues to make fashion fun
Lesson from this look: Verbal Statement. Clothing says more than you do, in this society anyway, wear your politics.
Typical Freaks
Typical Freaks
I’m not very familiar with Typical Freaks but I now know I love their stuff and look forward to SS16
Lesson From this look: Boring jumpers don’t have to take over, let your tops still say something cool!
Simone Rocha
Simone Rocha
I just loved every piece which had a similar top half to this one, it’s a very cool look
Lesson from this look: Blackout with thicker fabrics such as scuba or neoprene
Sorapol
Sorapol
A very artistic show from Sorapol, this final dress was defo a highlight
Lesson from this look: Despite all, remain feminine. Fashion is to complement the woman’s body. This dress is similar to the dresses in the 40s which aimed to revive the femininity of the female which can still be an empowering look today.
